WTA Launches Surf Coast Walk Self-Guided Options

At Walk Travel Advisory, we’re mainly about helping our clients choose and book a walking holiday from one of the myriad of offerings out there. Occasionally, if we think there is a gap in the market, we’ll fill it ourselves.

We’ve now done that for Victoria’s 45 km Surf Coast Walk! Being close to Melbourne and with a multitude of holiday attractions, the Surf Coast Walk is perfect for a two or three day walking getaway.

The Surf Coast Walk starts just near Torquay and finishes at Fairhaven. Many people don’t realise that the Great Ocean Road strays away from the coast for much of this stretch, meaning the Surf Coast Walk gets the coast, the views, the beaches but without the traffic.

Highlights of the Surf Coast Walk include: Bells Beach, Point Addis lookouts, Ironbark Basin forest, the Anglesea cliffs, Split Point Lighthouse at Aireys Inlet and pristine beaches of all descriptions. Add to that quality local provedores, restaurants and breweries and you can see why we think walkers need to go.

Walk Travel Advisory has compiled a variety of two and three day self-guided packages. You make your way to Torquay or Anglesea and our packages take it from there. The packages include accommodation, luggage transfers, some meals, end of walk transfer, track notes and track map (notes and map in physical and digital form).
