The National Parks in the Northern Territory are home to many short and long walking tracks. West MacDonnell Ranges

This region lies west of Alice Springs and encompasses an ancient landscape sculpted by climatic elements. It is home to dramatic rock gorges, picturesque swimming waterholes and significant Aboriginal cultural sites.

Nitmiluk National Park

Nitmiluk National Park lies northeast of Katherine and is home to a truly ancient sandstone landscape. Stepping back in time, walkers can explore the acclaimed Katherine Gorge, the spectacular Arnhem Land escarpment plateau and the myriad of indigenous rock art sites.
