The recently opened Bondi to Manly Walk is designed to showcase Sydney to the world. The B2MW links the existing network of well-maintained coastal and harbourside walking tracks between Bondi and Manly. Both Bondi and Manly are world famous surf beaches and offer the quintessential Australian experience of sun, surf and sand. Walkers get to enjoy Sydney’s stunning ocean beaches plus its multitude of harbourside coves and national parks.

The entire track traverses 80 kilometres of public land and features diverse landscape including bush tracks, scenic gardens, rock swimming pools, secluded beaches and stunning harbour views. Along the way, you are never far from a tempting cafe, restaurant or icecream shop.

There is little chance of getting lost as the walk is well signposted with more than 350 waymarks. The distinctive waymark features a whale and footprints. There are two main itineraries which maximise the accommodation options along the track. Walkers can choose between 4 days of 20kms each or 7 days of 11kms each.

The walk has many highlights. The dramatic cliffs of the South and North Heads form a memorable entry to Sydney Harbour. There are numerous historic houses and iconic architectural wonders including the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The track also passes significant Aboriginal cultural sites including the Grotto Point engravings and the Reef Beach rock art.

There is no better way to immerse yourself in the delights of Sydney than by walking from Bondi to Manly. The B2MW offers a unique combination of stunning coastal, harbourside, bush and city walking. This is a walk with serious wow factor and is set to become Australia’s answer to the famed Cinque Terre.
